Submit your work

To submit your work for possible publication in Parabola, please prepare your submission as described above and then read the submission conditions (*) below. If you agree with these conditions, then please email your work to parabola@maths.unsw.edu.au. Please let us know if you have any questions or need other help in relation to submitting your work to Parabola!

(*)
1. Please note that Parabola is presently unable to receive submissions from Belarus, Iran or Russia, due to restrictions by the Australian government.
2. Your submitted work must be your own and must sufficiently differ from previously published work.
3. The Parabola editors will assess your submission and determine its suitability for publication in Parabola.
4. If the editors consider your submission provisionally suitable for publication, then they may use AI-assisted analysis to help identify possible overlap with existing work and mathematical errors or weaknesses. Any such analysis will be treated as advisory and will be reviewed by the editors; it will not, by itself, constitute a finding of plagiarism or mathematical incorrectness. Where appropriate, an assessment report may be sent to you together with editors’ comments and requests, to assist you in revising and improving your work. The AI service used for this purpose will be UNSW’s ChatGPT Edu workspace. Data submitted to this workspace is not used by OpenAI to train its AI models.
5.
By submitting a manuscript, authors acknowledge that Parabola may use UNSW-approved tools, including ChatGPT Edu, to assist the editorial assessment and revision process. Such tools will not be used as a substitute for editorial judgement.
